“WIN A VISIT FROM DARIUS AND THE CREW CONTEST” RULES

•    Here is how to enter our contest:

1) Hold a fund-raiser at a state-accredited middle or high school to benefit Darius Goes West, Inc.  Fund-raisers are up to the discretion of participating schools and funds raised may include sales of Darius Goes West merchandise.

2) Mail a check with proceeds from the school fund-raiser payable to “Darius Goes West” post-marked by May 1,  2010 to:

3) All entries must be signed by an authorized school executive and include the school name, contact name, address, email address, and telephone number.

•    Prize is Darius (as long as his health permits traveling) and the crew (as many as can make the trip) will visit five (4) winning schools between May 1, 2010 and June 15, 2010 (Date and time to be agreed upon by the winning schools and the Darius Goes West, Inc., however, the final decision on scheduling such visit rests with Darius Goes West, Inc.). School must be reachable by car from Athens, GA.

•    Winning schools in the following categories will be visited by Darius and the crew:

1) Top Fundraising School that Darius and crew have visited in the past: Of the many schools that Darius and the crew have already visited, Darius and the crew will return to the one (1) school that raises the most funds in the contest.

2)    Top Two (2) Fundraising Schools that Darius and crew have not visited: Darius and the crew will visit the two (2) schools that raise the most funds in the contest.

3)    Most Creative Fundraiser: Darius and the crew will visit the one (1) school with the most creative fundraising method, as judged by Darius Goes West, Inc. Your school can send us an email and pictures or video to share your creative fundraising ideas.

•    Darius and the crew will provide their own transportation, lodging and meals during visits to the winning schools. School must be reachable by car from Athens, GA.

•    Contest runs from midnight (EST) on September 7, 2009 through midnight (EST) on May 1, 2010.

•    Winners will be announced by May 10, 2010

•    All winners will be notified by telephone, email or mail.

•    All prizes will be awarded.

•    Darius Goes West, Inc. is not responsible for any mail delivery service problems or mail not received.

•    This contest is void where prohibited by law.

•    All contest entrants and prize winners must be state-accredited middle or high schools.

•    There is a limit of one winner per school.

•    All prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.

•    Winners consent to the use of their name, likeness, and all verbal and written communications with the Darius Goes West, Inc. for publicity purposes.

•    All decisions of the Darius Goes West, Inc. judges are final.

•    Every school that registers on the Darius Goes West Forum (http://www.dariusgoeswest.org/forum/) will have its name displayed in permanent marker on the RV in which Darius travels.
