New Batman Character?

Quote of the Day #1: “Not all heroes are fictional. We want to thank Darius for coming out to Furman tonight”—Andrew Barnhill, Darius Goes West’s host at Furman College, to the audience.

Quote of the Day #2: “They should make a new Batman character who’s black and fat and in a wheelchair”—Darius, to the crew after the question-and-answer session.

Next for the crew, it was on to Greenville, South Carolina, for a screening at Furman University.

Andrew (speaking, in black shirt), who brought us to Furman, gave Darius and the cause a great plug.

After the screening and the question-and-answer session, almost all of the audience members stuck around.

We talked about progress on the million-DVD goal…

what studies in high school and college led the crew to Darius Goes West…

and how best to support DGW in the future.

Thanks so much to our hosts Mary, Andrew, Jack, and Dixon, for feeding us well and coordinating our time on campus!

    darius is definetly a hero. people with dmd are probobly watching his movie right know. people without dmd are supprised at how strong he is. he is a teenager that has the same disease that killed his brother and he is still going strong.
